In August 2017, the HydroSpin system was installed in the Bat Galim Haifa, Mei Carmel Water Utility, located in the North of Israel.
The power produced by the HydroSpin system, enables the I20 dynamic pressure controller to operate in one of the main city DMAs.
The aim of this DMA is to monitor and control pressure, allowing efficient energy management while protecting the water network from high pressure and allowing the local utility a steady and continuous data flow.
The installation was performed on a 6’’(150MM) pipeline, and included Hydrospin’s Yogev 6’’(150MM) units, capable of producing up to 20 watts of electricity.
The following images illustrate the simplicity of HydroSpin installation and demonstrate how our system makes energy available along the entire water network.
